Senior System Analyst Revenue Cycle Operation- Patient Accounting-Corporate 42nd Street- Full-Time Days (Hybrid)
The Senior Systems Analyst Revenue Cycle Operation helps in the evaluation of client area application systems/programming requirements and processes (e.g., new, enhancements or maintenance), in the preparation of application system specifications, and in the development, testing and implementation of efficient, cost effective application solutions.
- Works with client management to identify and specify the business requirements and processes for diverse development platforms, computing environments (e.g., host based, distributed systems, client server), software, hardware, technologies and tools, etc.
- Researches and evaluates alternative solutions, and recommends the most efficient and cost effective solution for the systems/program design and develops system specifications and procedures.
- Recommends the equipment/platform needed for its solution, and prepares logic flow charts and machine instructions.
- Formulates logical statements of business requirements and with some guidance, devises, tests and implements efficient, cost effective application program solutions (e.g., codes and/or reuses existing codes through the use of program development software alternatives and/or integrates purchased solutions).
- Devises data verification methods and standard systems procedures and participates in systems testing.
- May provide assistance and training to lower level Analysts/Programmers.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Three years of experience preferred in systems analysis and application program development.
- Requires knowledge of the client area’s functions and systems, and applications program development technological alternatives.
- Requires some experience with application development support software packages, proficiency in at least two higher-level programming languages, good judgment and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with client and IT management and staff.
Compensation Statement
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $67,500.00 - $101,640.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
