Bodyline specializes in producing fitted garments and superior next-to-skin performance wear; and is the go-to vendor for bra innovations. The company has evolved from making simple minimalist styles for a single customer to multiple styles and silhouettes across product categories for global brands.

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to accept and develop a product (style) for correct fit and construction by getting technical leadership and working with the internal (IE/ Sew tech/ Bonding Tech/ molding tech/ costing and development merchandizing) and external (customer) in achieving total calendar timelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand the fit and pattern blocks to be used and fill the DMQ with a pattern and product perspective.
- Maintain budget RMC, Embellishment and Material Percentage to the assigned target. Work with Garment technical, Consumption team continuous basis and adjust the workings accordingly.
- Help improve Chassis alignment at loading stage for the JV by reducing the number of chasiss and standardizing operations while maintaining toolbox adherence of 80% for all internal development.
- Ensure pattern issuance target per the month, on time performance and the pattern accuracy expectations are met and stick to the target set by the management.
- Identify the correct fit & construction requirement of a style & develop patterns, arrange style file, following up the sample progress with garment tech and send the samples to customer with proper review. Work with development merchandizing team to ensure meeting style calendar dates & customer communication.
- Liaise with production teams to transfer the product development knowledge into production in an effective manner in order to ensure optimum production performance.
- Ensure the product risk are thoroughly evaluated with Garment technologist team and proper actions are documented and drive to mitigate the risk.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Degree in Apparel or Textile from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar capacity.
- Advanced knowledge of fit evaluation of close-body garments and the pattern making skills for 3D contouring garments (Bra and Tights)
- Experience in handling pattern making CAD software.
- Advanced knowledge of different fabrics and trims in the industry and the effect of those behaviors in garment fit and construction.
