Part-Time- Assistant Softball Coach

The Greenville University Softball program is seeking applicants for the appointment of Part-Time Assistant Coach.  This appointment begins August 20, 2025.  This Assistant will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the Softball program.

Greenville University is a NCAA Division III institution, located outside of St. Louis.  Greenville University is an evangelical Christian liberal arts college associated with the Free Methodist Church, whose faculty and staff affirm a Statement of Faith.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Coaching & Training: Assist in planning and leading practices and competitions.
• Recruitment & Retention: Help identify and engage prospective student-athletes through emails, phone calls, letters, and      social media.
• Academic & Spiritual      Mentorship: Support student-athletes’ academic progress and lead team Bible studies or faith-based mentorship initiatives.
• Administrative Support: Manage team operations, maintain databases, and assist in fundraising, marketing, and community      outreach.
• Game Day & Event Management: Assist with athletic events, performances, and university-related activities as assigned by the      Director of Athletics

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications/Requirements:

• Previous coaching experience.
