About the Role
As Head of Regulatory Reporting in our Institutional Finance team, you will ensure the accurate and timely completion of local regulatory reporting requirements and obligations, including the submission of country statutory reports. You will be responsible for maintaining full compliance with applicable regulatory reporting standards as well as internal Finance policies and procedures.
You will also monitor and mitigate financial reporting, operational, and compliance risks within the Finance function through the implementation of a robust quality assurance and governance program.
In addition, you will lead group-wide initiatives and change projects, driving continuous improvement and ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory expectations and organizational priorities.

What will your day look like?
As a Head of Regulatory Reporting you will;
- Oversee the preparation and submission of local regulatory returns and surveys, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate regulatory reporting activities to deliver high-quality reports to local authorities and stakeholders.
- Manage ad-hoc requests from internal teams, external auditors, and regulators with agility and precision.
- Ensure all identified issues are resolved promptly and documented appropriately.
- Maintain compliance with relevant financial standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide clear documentary evidence to support reported financial results and estimates.
- Act as a key liaison with internal stakeholders (Operations, Front Office, Internal Audit) and external parties (Regulators, External Auditors).
- Influence internal stakeholders to uphold financial accounting policies and statutory reporting standards.
- Foster strong, cooperative relationships with local authorities and other financial service professionals.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and support the adoption of best practices across Finance.
- Lead and support your team through change, maintaining morale and collaboration through transparent communication
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Extensive experience in the Banking Finance sector, with deep expertise in financial reporting and governance.
- Solid experience in statutory and regulatory accounting within a banking environment.
- Holder of Senior Securities License and Bill Finance License, reflecting strong professional credentials and regulatory knowledge.
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex financial and regulatory challenges.
- Strong project management capabilities, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives and change programs.
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building collaborative, high-performing teams.
