What You'll Be Doing
- Partner with the Director of Training to develop and refine training for all corporate and on-site employees.
- Create and execute an engaging, interactive, and practical training & coaching strategy to enhance team member skills.
- Facilitate virtual and in-person training sessions tailored to various roles within Valiant.
- Collaborate on new initiatives in cooperation with Operations and Marketing.
- Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of current training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Responsible for maintaining Valiant’s LMS training platform including updating the training calendar, tracking training compliance reports, communication of training agendas and class attendance.
- On Secret Shopper calls, provide coaching and feedback to Property Managers, Assistant Property Managers, Leasing Managers, and Leasing Consultants.
- Responsible for maintaining a current digital copy of all training programs and other materials for in-house training.
- Partner with team members to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, and technologies.
- Stay up to date with trends and regulations in the multifamily industry including, but not limited to, fair housing, sexual harassment, disability accommodations, and landlord-tenant relationships, as they apply to the company's and communities' policies and procedures.
- Act as a resource for onsite team members and teach skills such as phone systems, policies and procedures, customer service, financial reporting, CRM Flex/ Yardi systems and ensure team members have a complete understanding of their job responsibilities.
- Compliance auditing/training of onsite personnel is needed to ensure SOPs are consistently executed. Provide the team with tools and resources to achieve results.

Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years in the property management
- Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish a plus
- Proficiency in delivering professional skills courses. Ability to motivate and inspire diverse teams with enthusiasm and positivity.
- Outstanding presentation skills with the ability to effectively articulate and communicate in a way that retains trainee engagement.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in creating training materials using software like PowerPoint, Canva, or similar tools.
- Exceptional Written and strong public speaking skills.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws
- Previous demonstrated training experience preferred
- Experience with training best practices, skills assessment methodologies, processes, and training curriculum design desired.
- Minimum three years of on-site multifamily management experience
- Flexibility to travel to various properties as needed.
