Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Director of Operations to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across multiple senior living communities in Missouri. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and employee engagement across the region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare operations, a passion for serving seniors, and the ability to lead teams to achieve excellence.


  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Oversight:
    • Provide day-to-day support and leadership to Administrators and department leaders at assigned communities.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care.
  • Operational Performance:
    • Monitor and improve overall operational metrics, including census growth, quality measures, staffing levels, and resident satisfaction.
    • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations.
  • Financial Management:
    • Collaborate with community leadership to manage budgets, control costs, and achieve financial goals.
    • Analyze financial reports and implement action plans to improve performance.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure each community complies with state and federal regulations.
    • Support communities in preparing for and responding to surveys, audits, and inspections.
  • Staff Development:
    • Mentor and coach Administrators and leadership teams.
    • Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and retaining top talent across the region.
  • Strategic Initiatives:
    • Implement and support company-wide initiatives and best practices.
    • Partner with the executive team to develop growth strategies, including new service lines and acquisitions.

Requirements

  

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of multi-site operational leadership experience in senior living, long-term care, or healthcare.
  • Current Missouri Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license or willingness to obtain strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state senior living regulations.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and financial performance.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently throughout Missouri (up to 75%).
