Physician - Mobile, AL

Position Overview:
Urgent Care for Children is seeking a dedicated, board-certified Pediatrician to join our team. We have both full-time and PRN opportunities available. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality pediatric care, supporting our Nurse Practitioners, and ensuring compliance with state standards.

Clinic Hours – Madison Location:

• Monday – Friday: 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Full-Time Schedule (14 Shifts Monthly):
Our full-time schedule offers a thoughtful balance of structure and flexibility. We collaborate closely with providers to build schedules that meet clinic needs while supporting a healthy work-life balance. Full-time providers work 14 shifts per month, with rotating weekends, and adjustments can be made as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical oversight and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners to maintain exceptional pediatric care.
• Work in-clinic shifts alongside Nurse Practitioners to deliver direct patient care.
• Complete monthly quality reviews of patient charts in accordance with state regulations and company procedures.
• Evaluate, assess, document, and provide appropriate interventions for pediatric patients.
• Be available to Nurse Practitioners for consultation via phone or email.
• Supervise multiple Nurse Practitioners, offering guidance, feedback, and support.
• Execute and renew collaborative agreements as required by Alabama state law.
• Conduct site visits and performance reviews for supervised providers.
• Perform other duties as required by law or company policy.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Pediatrics.
• Active Alabama medical license.
• Strong pediatric urgent care skills.
• CPR and PALS certification (required).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
