Ortho Assistant

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our dental team. The Ortho Assistant will work closely with orthodontists to assist with patient care, including preparing patients for treatments, taking X-rays, and maintaining records. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent patient care.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited Orthodontic Assistant program is preferred
- X-ray certification is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist orthodontists with patient care procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for examinations and procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Maintain patient records and documentation
- Educate patients on proper dental hygiene practices
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Perform office tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments and processing payments
