A day in the life:
Step into the Treasury Analyst role at Monster Energy and get ready to supercharge our hedging programs! You'll be the mastermind behind assessing, monitoring, and analyzing everything from forecast reconciliation to new program development. Take the wheel on daily collateral postings and assist with our epic share repurchase operations, all while ensuring our reporting hits the mark with precision. The impact you'll make:
- Prepare exposure reports for commodities and foreign exchange (FX) using data from accounting systems to properly inform hedging decisions. Make trade recommendations based on these exposure reports to manage financial risk.
- Compare forecasted exposures against actual exposures, when available, to identify areas of improvement for hedging accuracy. Complete similar analysis to aid in the feasibility of new hedging programs.
- Complete trade confirmation, matching, and settlement to ensure good standing and proper resolution of hedging instruments.
- Manage daily collateral process.
- Complete peer group analysis on relevant metrics (share repurchase, credit risk, etc.) to serve as a benchmark in our industry and inform strategic decisions for capital deployment.
- Review and archive all share repurchase activity to ensure accuracy of daily activity when applicable. Prepare summaries of share repurchase activity to be shared with senior leadership to inform strategic decisions for capital deployment.
- Review, archive, and obtain proper approvals for all financing related activity (interest payments, unutilized fees, prepayments, draws, etc.) to ensure both accuracy of payments and proper documentation for relevant controls.
- Consume, summarize, and share macro-economic research related to relevant areas for Monster to properly inform hedging decisions and aid market discussions.
- Assist with the settlement of intercompany activity to ensure timely and accurate payments are made across Monster's internal entities with appropriate levels of communication.
Who you are:
- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of - Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field of study
- Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in treasury or other financial positions
- Additional Experience Desired: Minimum 1 year of experience in multinational or consumer goods environment
- Computer Skills Desired: Programing Language (SQL, VBA, Python), Microsoft Office Suite experience (Excel), Bloomberg Terminal
- Preferred Certifications: N/A
- Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: N/A
Monster Energy provides a competitive total compensation. This position has an estimated annual salary of $52,800 - $70,400. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
