Job Description

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Quality Controller. The selected candidates’ main duties and responsibilities will consist of:

Establish and implement the quality assurance procedures and systems required for the projects.
Responsible for the ISO 14001 on environment on behalf of Mekanika, reporting directly to the General Manager;
Ensure that company third party accreditations are obtained and maintained (ISO 9001).
Supervise the quality control functions/activities of the projects.
Highlight and inform the project team and sub-contractors about the contractual obligations and conditions.
Create a mechanism to collect and maintain all records, registers and relevant documentation.
Liaise with the client’s engineers to solve issues related to the quality of the installed systems.
Assure timely and qualitative progress certification and final certification of works and projects in its entirety.
Ensure all company procedures, and work instructions are documented in a clear, simple and concise manner.
Assist in the preparation of tenders by providing management system related documents.
Identify relevant legislative requirements.
Control and maintain the company audit and risk assessment schedule.
Conduct internal quality compliance audits.

Qualifications

The ideal applicant for this post should have:

Previous experience in quality control
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Familiarity with quality control standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Be computer conversant in the use of Microsoft applications.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
