We are seeking a(n) Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Engineer I in our Broomfield, CO Location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, implement, and continuously monitor company-wide safety programs and policies to ensure alignment with best practices and corporate standards.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local HSE regulations and requirements.
- Deliver effective training for Emergency Response Teams (ERT) and employees on topics including emergency response, life safety, industrial hygiene, and chemical and fire hazards.
- Respond to workplace emergencies, incidents, and accidents; lead and/or participate in root cause analyses and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and surveys to proactively identify occupational hazards and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and submit all required HSE-related reports to local, state, and federal agencies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of incidents, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Partner with ISC Operations and other HSE team members to support the implementation of global programs and ensure overall compliance.
- Provide clear and consistent communication with key stakeholders and leadership on HSE initiatives and project updates.
- Support the development, review, and update of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other site operations-related documentation.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support the success of the ISC team and overall company objectives.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable safety standards and regulations
- Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.
- Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. person (defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status)

- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in quantum computing, semiconductors, aerospace, technology, or other advanced R&D settings.
