Who you’ll be working with:
The Liberty IT Talent Acquisition team (TAcqos 🌮) manage all internal, external and entry level hiring activities for all Liberty IT sites in Belfast, Dublin and Galway. We source, engage and attract new technology talent to Liberty IT and are active DEI advocates. We like to think we are a bunch of fun, friendly, problem solvers 😊
Experience and skills we need:
- A minimum of three years’ internal technical recruitment experience, with deep experience in sourcing and recruiting new employees in an internal recruitment function.
- A minimum of two years of experience in partnering and advising technical hiring managers to deliver outstanding results.
- A minimum of three years of experience in software engineering and/or data science recruitment activities.
- Experience in working with multiple systems and applications, including an ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and the Microsoft Office suite.
- A proven ability to lead and deliver continuous improvement projects.

- Experience in building diverse talent pipelines and recruiting in a manner that has DE&I at the heart of the process.
- Experience in working with iCIMS
- Experience with communication tools such as Microsoft Teams or Slack
- A 3rd level degree in a Human Resource Management or Business related field.
- Ability to travel to offices in Belfast and/or Dublin, as required.
What you’ll be doing:
- Partner and advise Managers and Technical Leads identify recruitment requirements. Develop a deep understanding of their business areas and the business challenges they are working to solve. Communicate this to perspective applicants in the recruitment process.
- Establish effective sourcing strategies and provide a first class candidate experience to people you interact with.
- Consistently update and communicate with Hiring Managers, keeping them up to date on the availability of suitable applicants and managing their expectations on time to hire.
- Manage and co-ordinate the full recruitment and selection process including role intake, advertising, sourcing, selection processes and offer negotiation.
- Ensure all recruitment and selection documentation is up to date and in-line with best practices and legislative requirements.
- Coach and mentor other Talent Acquisition team members.
- Share your expertise of labour trends in the technology industry with wider stakeholders.
- Regularly report and present recruitment updates to senior stakeholders.
- Research, initiate and implement improvements to our recruitment and selection processes. Take a lead role in continuous improvement projects, partnering with the wider Talent team and other Liberty IT employees.
- Support entry level recruitment and internal recruitment initiatives as required.
- Continuously grow your knowledge of technology, systems and approaches to technical and product delivery.
- Supported by Talent Leaders, seek opportunities to share and celebrate what you’ve learned and achieved through internal talks, blogging and external events.
