Leduc Co-op is hiring a Financial Controller at our Admin Office in Leduc, AB.

What you’ll do:
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Planning, directing, and coordinating all accounting operational functions.
- Managing and compiling all financial data for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results.
- Coordinating activities of external auditors.
- Provide management with information vital to business operations.
- Managing the budget process in consultation with the General Manager.
- Managing current business performance metrics.
- Overseeing regulatory reporting, including tax compliance.
- Overseeing the Admin Office’s team members.
- Working with the General Manager, Division Managers and FCL in developing business forecast and feasibility for future needs.
- And all related duties as required.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Finance and:
- You have a minimum of high school, and a related post secondary diploma/degree in the business accounting field. A professional designation is an asset.
- You have minimum 5 – 7 years of retail accounting experience, preferably with supervisory experience for part of them. Previous Co-op experience is an asset.
- You are highly motivated, and work well in a team environment
- You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
