Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for safety and security? Do you thrive in high-responsibility roles where leadership, data analysis, and emergency preparedness intersect? We’re seeking a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Security Department—while also serving as our Emergency Management Specialist.

What You’ll Do

In this dual-impact role, you’ll be the driving force behind a safe and secure environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. Reporting to the Security Director, you’ll manage day-to-day operations, lead training initiatives, and ensure compliance with critical safety standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading staff development, orientation, and in-service training for Security Officers
• Representing the department in meetings and committees when the Director is unavailable
• Assisting with safety drills and emergency preparedness across the medical center
• Designing and analyzing monthly security reports and recommending improvements
• Maintaining Joint Commission documentation and developing action plans for compliance
• Updating and enforcing medical center security policies and procedures

What You Bring

• Education: Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice or related field—or equivalent experience
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in security, with supervisory experience preferred
• Licensure/Certifications:
  • Must obtain IAHSS supervisory certification within one year of hire
  • BLS (CPR) certification required
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (certified copy required annually)
