Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Frontend Engineer to join our team. As a Frontend Engineer at Build-A-Bera, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the user interfaces that power our blockchain ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about creating seamless and engaging user experiences.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality products.
Implement UI/UX designs and ensure technical feasibility.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of web applications.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in frontend development and blockchain technology.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Continuously improve code quality, performance, and user experience.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of experience in frontend development with proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks and libraries such as React, Vue, or Angular.
Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux or Vuex.
Experience with RESTful APIs and WebSockets.
Knowledge of blockchain technology and experience working with EVM-compatible chains or the Cosmos SDK is highly preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid team environment.
Demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with smart contract development and understanding of DeFi protocols.
Familiarity with web3.js or ethers.js.
Experience with UI/UX design tools like Figma or Sketch.
Contributions to open-source projects or participation in the blockchain developer community.
Experience with agile development methodologies and tools.
