Managing Director, Vietnam

Edelman is seeking an experienced, visionary Managing Director to lead its operations in Vietnam, driving integrated communications strategies with excellence, innovation, and a steadfast commitment to client partnership. This leadership role is ideal for a client-centric executive with a proven track record of engaging at the C-suite level and delivering transformative solutions across marketing and communications disciplines.
As Managing Director, you will shape the direction and growth of Edelman Vietnam by fostering a high-performance culture, advancing strategic client engagements, and championing a multidisciplinary approach that delivers measurable impact. You’ll serve as both a strategic advisor and a business operator, steering cross-functional teams to achieve exceptional results.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 18 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related fields.
• Proven experience managing large-scale client accounts with budgets exceeding USD 500K.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing and motivating large, multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
• Exceptional executive presence with the ability to advise, influence, and engage senior clients and internal stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a strong orientation toward results, innovation, and operational discipline.
• Strong data fluency: ability to interpret and leverage analytics across earned, owned, and paid platforms to drive decision-making.
• Digitally fluent with a solid understanding of digital transformation and the evolving media landscape.
• Committed to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a reputation for ethical, open, and transparent leadership.
• Experience in compliance leadership, including oversight of mandatory training and regulatory adherence.
