Job Location:
This role will be 100% remote.
Clearance:

Job Description:
In this position as a Senior Budget Analyst, you will provide support and implementation for Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) and Managing for Results (MFR) activities. You will conduct multi-year programming studies and budget analyses, including survey methods, findings, evaluations, and recommendations. In this position, you will also:
- Support budget formulation efforts by developing, managing, and maintaining spreadsheets and budget artifacts used for the development of the Congressional Budget Justification.
- Conduct financial analysis to inform decision-making.
- Develop draft briefs for client management on the organization's budget.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience supporting budget formulation, execution, and analysis.
- 1 year of experience with budget-related laws, regulations, policies, and methods.
- 1 year of experience implementing PPBE/MFR and performing budgeting, planning, and forecasting.
Desired Skills:
- Active Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) certification is desired.
- Familiarity with OMB Circulars, GAO guidelines, and Congressional Budget Justifications.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex financial data.
- Proficiency with advanced Excel functions and data visualization tools.
- Ability to prepare high-quality written reports and briefings for senior leadership.
At Blake Willson Group, we believe in transparency and fairness in compensation practices. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $90,000 in the United States. Your individual salary within this range will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to your education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
