Junior Data Engineer

We are seeking a Junior Data Engineer to assist in building and maintaining data pipelines, integrating data from various systems, and ensuring data quality through automation and reporting. This is a junior-level role with strong growth potential.

You’ll be the first Data Engineer in the team, so we’re looking for someone proactive, curious, and comfortable with self-learning. You don’t need to know everything – we value potential and willingness to learn.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities 

• Integrate data from Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, MySQL Server, CSV files, and other structured sources. 

• Build automated data pipelines using Python, Power Automate, or similar tools. 

• Monitor data integrity and implement alerting mechanisms. 

• Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools. 

• Collaborate with Platform, Account, and Data teams to understand data needs and ensure alignment. 

• Document data workflows and troubleshooting guides. 

Required Skills 

• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases. 

• Basic experience with Python for scripting and automation. 

• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.). 

• Understanding of Salesforce platforms (Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud). 

• Strong analytical and communication skills. 

• Self-learning mindset and ability to work independently. 

Preferred Skills 

• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Alteryx, Talend). 

• Knowledge of Google Data Cloud (BigQuery, Data Studio). 

• Salesforce certifications (Admin, Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud) are a plus. 

Learning Support 

• While we don’t currently have senior Data Engineers on the team, you’ll receive support from experienced colleagues in Platform and Data. We also encourage self-learning through resources such as: 

• Coursera, Udemy, edX – Courses on data engineering, analytics, and automation. 

• Salesforce Trailhead, n8n Docs, Power Automate Docs
