Customer Escalations Supplier Management Manager

Boeing Global Services (BGS) Supplier Management is seeking a First Line Leader to join the team in Dallas, Texas. This position will focus on supporting Boeing Global Services Supply Chain via the Global Parts Solutions Commercial team. 

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

The First Line Leader in this position will lead our Supplier Management Customer Escalations (CE) team. The Customer Escalations team collaborates with our business and supply chain partners in order to identify the best possible solution(s) to supply parts and deliver satisfaction to our customers, alleviating their critical needs that impact our commercial fleet operations.

Position Responsibilities

  • Manage, develop, and motivate employees across a global team

  • Develops and uses collaborative relationships within and outside the organization to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals. Builds rapport and trust among stakeholders and leverages the organization's dynamics to promote program goals by focusing on a shared vision.

  • Effectively explores alternatives and positions through negotiation best practices to reach outcomes that gains the support and acceptance of all parties.

  • Practice goal-directed thinking and action in situations for which no routine solutions exist.

  • Understand a problem statement and its step-by-step transformation based on planning and reasoning.

  • Knowledgeable of how the business and organization operates; application of policies, practices, trends, and information affecting the business and organization; understands the competition and the marketplace

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • More than 5 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes

  • More than 3 years of experience in Data Analysis

  • More than 5 years of experience working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Experience in strategic decision making and supplier negotiations

  • Experience in a self-directed role

  • Communication skills and customer focus are critical to be successful in the role

  • Experience supporting emergent demand that requires off shift response/support

Summary Pay Range: $118,150 - $159,850
