Hourly Rate: $33.00 – $37.54 (WT 4A.1 to 4.3)

Are you an experienced educator ready to lead and inspire? Busy Bees at Crace is seeking a passionate and organised Lead Educator to guide learning experiences and support a strong, inclusive classroom environment.

About the Role:

As a Lead Educator, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs in line with the EYLF and NQS. You’ll lead your room with confidence, mentor other educators, and work closely with families to support each child’s individual development.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of educators within your room
Develop and deliver high-quality, play-based educational programs
Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating learning environment
Foster strong relationships with children and families
Ensure compliance with Busy Bees’ policies, the EYLF and NQS

What You’ll Bring:

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)
Experience leading a room in an early learning setting
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
Excellent communication and leadership skills
A genuine passion for supporting children’s development

Mandatory Requirements:

Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) – ACT
First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
Child Protection / Mandatory Reporting certificate
Australian work rights
