- Automate provisioning, deployment, and monitoring with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Ansible.
- Drive containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and security standards into all stages of development.
- Apply AWS best practices for cost optimization, security compliance (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST 800-53), and availability.
- Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and incident response within the AWS environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering with a strong focus on AWS.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps principles.
- Experience with container orchestration (EKS/Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Understanding of cloud security and compliance frameworks for government systems.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or DevOps Engineer) strongly preferred.
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a government clearance, if required.
Why GDIT:
