Job Description
Purpose of the role
To plan, schedule, coordinate, and manage all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work to ensure the continuous airworthiness and regulatory compliance of the aircraft fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage short, medium, and long-term aircraft maintenance plans in accordance with Approved Maintenance Programs, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and company requirements.
- Schedule and prepare aircraft maintenance work packages; generate and distribute man-hour plans and resource forecasts.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory and company maintenance schedules, airworthiness directives, modifications, and deferred defects.
- Liaise and coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and operational teams to ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks and real-time updates.
- Track, maintain, and manage accurate records of maintenance planning activities and aircraft status in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Support and participate in planning meetings (weekly, monthly, pre-input, base maintenance sessions etc.) and collaborate with procurement and supply chain for availability of spares/components.
- Evaluate manufacturer technical documentation, updates, and regulatory changes, and amend maintenance plans as required.
- Conduct maintenance forecasting (manpower/tooling/material), capacity management, and reliability monitoring.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes and systems, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.
- Produce technical and management reports as required and support financial documentation for invoicing.
- Observe all safety procedures and report potential hazards for prompt mitigation.
- Develops, delegates and manages subcontracted planning tasks.
- Assist the management as and when required.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering or related field with 3 year experience in CAMO/Maintenance Planning.
- Diploma in Aerospace/Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5 year experience in CAMO/Maintenance Planning.
- Knowledge of EASA/CAA/CAMO regulatory frameworks and maintenance management systems.
- Proficient in AMOS; strong documentation and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Other Information
May be required to travel domestically and internationally, and occasionally support activity outside regular hours as business needs dictate.
Adherence to all company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols is mandatory.
