Pay is $ 17.25 per hour PLUS an additional $2.00 per hour shift differential.

The Breast Trimmer removes the breast fillet from the belt conveyor as it passes the workstation. Use hands and fingers to pick fillet up, lay on cutting board to cut to a certain shape and weight with a knife and scissors. Inspect meat and removes bones, skin, and cartilage. Tosses or places bones, skins and cartilage onto a belt conveyor or into containers Splits the fillet; and tosses the fillets onto the packing conveyor. Must be able to work in damp/cool conditions. All other duties as assigned by management and group leaders.

Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to and from their workstations. Must be able to use a gripping motion with right hand to pick up fillet and use a knife and scissors. Trimmers are expected to perform repetitive motions involving gripping and cutting at a rapid pace of work.  (8 breast fillets a minute.) Must be able to stand the duration of shift approximately an average of 8 hours. Bending, twisting and turning body from side to side to see and keep up with product. Must have good hand/eye coordination to safely cut fillet.           
Gloves and waterproof boots. Knife, Scissors and Mesh Glove Gram Scale Must wear PPE ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair bonnet and beard guard.
