The role

Rothschild & Co is recruiting an experienced Content and Brand professional to assist with creating, sourcing and editing engaging content that aligns to our brand proposition, for publishing on the Group’s internal and external digital channels. The role also supports the Brand Director in ensuring brand best practice across all parts of the Rothschild & Co Group.

  • The Digital Communications team acts as a centre of excellence ensuring that Rothschild & Co is up to date in its digital communications approach. It is responsible for the Group’s digital communication channels and works closely with other communication stakeholders across business functions to advise and assist with their communications strategies. The team sits within the Group Corporate Communications team, and this role reports to the Digital Content Manager, working closely with the Brand Director, as well as the Group Head of Corporate Communications, Digital Platform Director, in-house design team and business-specific marketing and media teams.

Responsibilities

  • Brand

    • Overseeing the production of high-quality photo and video shoots, including planning, coordination and delivery, ensuring assets are delivered on time

    • Working closely with in-house design team, briefing and liaising on design deliverables, being a reliable link between briefers, designers and the Brand Director

    • Managing Digital Asset Management platform, and liaising regularly with external agency

    • Assist in developing and updating the brand guidelines of the Group, including branded templates for colleagues across channels

  • Content

  • Sourcing, producing and publishing engaging digital content that meets our communication objectives, in collaboration with stakeholders from around the Group

  • Taking ownership of the Group’s social media calendar and ensuring that content is published frequently and in a timely manner. Assisting in maintaining the internal communications content calendar

  • Editing and publishing content on the external website, Instagram, LinkedIn, the external Alumni platform, the intranet and for internal company emails

  • Working alongside the team to develop our social media presence and social media strategy, with a focus on visually appealing content for Instagram

  • Conducting trainings for colleagues on digital comms and brand-related platforms

  • Assisting in analysing data to provide insights and feedback to refine future content

Experience, skills and competencies required

  • A minimum of 4 years’ previous experience working in a similar Digital Communications role, preferably within the Professional Services sectors

  • A strong interest in brand and digital communications for the B2B and Financial Services sectors

  • Producing, editing and publishing engaging and effective digital content in line with a company’s brand guidelines and tone of voice

  • Experience of managing creative agencies or freelancers to deliver, providing effective briefs and ensuring delivery of requirements on time and on budget

  • Experience of organising and coordinating photo and video shoots

  • Experience using digital publishing tools, such as a website and intranet CMS (e.g. Optimizely), social media tools (e.g. Sprout Social, Hootsuite, LinkedIn, Instagram), email publishing tools.

  • Excellent communication skills; ability to articulate complex issues in a clear and concise manner

  • Strong visual skills, reviewing, selecting and commissioning imagery that meets specific communication objectives and adheres to the business’ brand guidelines

  • Strong organisational skills, ability to multi-task and maintain exceptional attention to detail even when working under pressure

  • Experience of producing effective social media campaigns

  • Knowledge of social media best practice, as well as identifying social media trends and trending digital topics, leveraging them to create engaging and shareable content

  • Experience in providing training on platforms and processes

Additional skills & competencies

  • Experience of managing a Digital Asset Management platform

  • Competency with Adobe Creative Cloud suite including Photoshop and Premier

  • French language skills
