Salary: $65,686/year

Job Duties:

• Responsible for the successful marketing and promotion of an eight-million-dollar Park's Enterprise Operation, plus the managing, planning, and coordinating of Parks+ Rec special events.
• Works with the County PIO and Office of Communications and develops press releases, print, video, and audio marketing pieces and programs.
• Develops and maintains relationships with media outlets and publishers for Media Buys and to ensure promotional collaboration and press coverage.
• Manages all aspects of the Parks + Rec website and social media outlets, with experience in Customer Relationship Management, for addressing social media inquiries and all public information

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, in an industry related field preferred.
• Four years of work-related experience.
• Preferably specialized training as a Certified Special Events Professional, Certified Special Events Coordinator or Certified Special Events Manager are desirable.
• Must possess/maintain valid Driver's License.
• Must submit to/pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
