What to expect?

To support our growth plans for one of our large clients in the Aerospace and Defense market, we are currently looking for a Senior Client Partner in The Netherlands.

The Responsibilities include:

  • Accountable for end-to-end client experience, the account P&L and profitable revenue growth.
  • Build and execute a growth-focused account strategic plan (ASP) for strategic accounts aligned to client business and strategy, both long and short term.
  • Responsible for identifying leads and pipeline generation, including accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Bring in customer knowledge to ensure Sales understand the client strategic direction and offering value proposition is matched to client strategic direction.
  • Lead, coordinate and manage long-term C-suite and business relationships.
  • Lead client to leverage innovative technologies and business services from DXC.
  • Leverage DXC partners and portfolio to drive market leadership position, generate leads up the Technology Stack and create value for clients.
  • Gather the winning team to run the account and for each specific deal that is pursued.
  • Motivate and drive the team to success with “can do” spirit.
  • Create a culture of trust and an environment that enables high performing team.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Academic degree or equivalent level based on professional experience.
  • Senior Account Executive with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in the IT industry, ideally in client-facing roles within complex enterprise environments. Directly related previous work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic client relationships at senior and executive levels, acting as a trusted advisor across both business and technology domains.
  • Strong business acumen, capable of translating client objectives into IT-enabled outcomes across infrastructure, application, and business process services.
  • Proven experience in leading account strategy, managing virtual account teams, and ensuring delivery excellence and customer satisfaction over multi-year engagements.
  • Skilled in identifying and driving growth opportunities through consultative selling, upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; able to confidently engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Broad solution understanding, including:
  • Infrastructure Services: SD-WAN, SDDC, SD-LAN, and managed network operations.
  • Application Services: Custom development and management, as well as delivery of COTS platforms such as SAP and Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Business Process Services: Including Payroll and HR-related outsourcing.

  • Affinity with or knowledge of the Aerospace and Defence sector is a strong plus
  • Experience in leading a virtual team
  • Fluent Dutch and English, Italian is nice to have
  • Willingness to travel across Europe occasionally, depending on client and team needs
