A Brief Overview
Under limited supervision, effectively partners with RGA business users gather, define and document capability requirements. Serve as liaison with technology partners to ensure capability requirements are understood and deliverables fully meet business team needs. Utilizing BI tools, performs data analysis and generates reporting to meet business team business intelligence needs. Trains users on system functionality and supports them during all phases of implementation.
What will you do
- Research, reviews and documents existing processes, procedures and functions for enhancement, accuracy, and redevelopment.
- Assists in evaluation of business requests to determine feasibility; researches and identifies options.
- Creates and maintains documentation for project-related business requirements and user manuals.
- Performs data analysis utilizing industry BI tools and generates reporting to meet business user requirements.
- Participates in multiple projects and project-related tasks and appropriately balances priorities and deliverables.
- Participates in the training of all levels of resources.
- Facilitates communication between members of the project team on project issues and expectations.
- Coordinates and participates in user testing activities.
- Responds to questions from business and technology partners.
- Assists in performing task automation and implements process improvements; recommends enhancements that result in increased quality and service.
- Reviews, analyzes, and verifies production problems working with the business users to understand priorities and scheduling.
- Works with a sense of urgency and maintains regular and predictable attendance
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years experience as a Business Analysts, Data Analyst, Systems Analyst, etc.
Preferred:
- 5+ years experience as a such as Business Analysis, Data Analyst, Systems Analyst, etc.
- Insurance industry knowledge
- LOMA Certification, ARA Designation
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Required:
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with BI tools reporting applications including but not limited to Power BI and Tableau
- Proficient SQL/Query and Excel skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- General knowledge of broad business practices
- Proficient ability to communicate and work effectively cross-functionally with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines
- Proficient investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient data analysis and data visualization skills
- Ability to quickly adapt to new methods, work under tight deadlines and stressful situations
- Must have ability to work effectively within a team environment and possess a customer-first focus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and/or projects simultaneously, including the ability to handle changing priorities and deliverables.

Compensation Range:
$76,100.00 - $108,050.00 AnnualBase pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
