Software Engineer, Digital Identity

The Role
The Digital Security Identity Chapter is embarking on a multi-year journey to build modern customer identity capabilities. As a Software Engineer, you will join a team of engineers to create transformative identity management APIs across multiple digital experiences and products, delivering outstanding digital experiences to customers in a reusable, scalable, and efficient way.

This is a hands-on role where you will work across engineering, architecture, and product teams to deliver a complete API offering that is reliable, resilient, and meets the needs of our customers.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • 6-9 years of hands-on experience designing and programming highly functional and scalable software applications using Java, Sprint Boot.
  • Proficient in designing, building, and documenting customer facing RESTful APIs 
  • Familiarity with AWS services architecture and solution patterns
  • Experience with entire software development lifecycle, including development, unit testing, QA test automation, CI/CD, and containerization using tools including Github, SonarQube, Jenkins Core, Kubernetes 
  • Experience in deploying and supporting large-scale solutions that impact millions of customers and thousands of associates across a complex ecosystem.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • (Preferred) Experience in customer identity and access management.
