This role is pivotal to driving commercial success in the region and building strong client relationships as we continue our dynamic growth journey.

About the role:

We are seeking an energetic Accountant to join the Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) finance team for a 6-week, part time fixed term contract. The main function of the role will be to assist in the completion of our financial year-end procedures. In addition, you will also be involved in the below tasks.

Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Reports)
Preparation of monthly departmental reports.
Assist with preparation of year-end statutory accounts.
Preparation of monthly forecasts
Providing ad hoc advice to other members of the finance team (e.g. coding issues).
Maintenance of the General Ledger and Asset Register.
Assist the revenue team with client bookings
Assist the accounts payable function with invoice processing and
Assist with any further requirements as they arise.

About You:

Be in the process of completing or recently completed your CA/CPA;
Strong attention to detail, problem solving and organisational skills;
Ability to work to tight deadlines and effectively prioritise your workload;
Exceptional communication, interpersonal and decision making skills;
Driven to work autonomously while participating to a collaborative environment.
A positive attitude with a continuous improvement outlook, seeking and sourcing ways to improve efficiencies and processes; and
Ability to develop and foster strong relationships with stakeholders and a dedication to providing exceptional service to internal customers.
