Role Overview
The Team Lead will be responsible for the Corporate Credit Card (IBCP) process and Concur Expense Management System operations, ensuring accuracy, SOX compliance, and adherence to company travel and expense policies. This role serves as the primary liaison among internal partners, card issuers, employees, auditors, and the finance team to ensure seamless execution, timely issue resolution, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process Leadership & Operations
- Lead daily operations for IBCP issuance, activation, cancellation, and maintenance.
- Lead Concur processes including expense report reviews, policy compliance, and timely reimbursements.
- Ensure strict adherence to travel & expense policies; address non-compliance.
- Supervise reconciliation between credit card statements and Concur submissions.
2. SOX Compliance & Controls
- Implement and supervise SOX controls related to expense and card processes.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure internal control compliance.
- Facilitate periodic SOX testing and coordinate with auditors.
- Identify and mitigate financial control and data integrity risks.
3. Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary contact for cardholders, employees, and finance teams.
- Liaise with card issuers/banks to resolve disputes, fraud, and technical issues.
- Collaborate with AP, Treasury, HR, Travel Desk, and IT to streamline operations.
4. People Management
- Supervise and mentor a team of analysts; provide training and feedback.
- Allocate workload to ensure timely results and SLA adherence.
- Promote a culture of compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- 5. Process Improvement & Reporting
- Analyze expense data to identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Drive automation and policy enhancements aligned with industry standard processes.
- Prepare and present MIS and compliance reports to management.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Expertise in Corporate Credit Card Programs (IBCP) and Concur.
- Strong understanding of SOX compliance and internal controls.
- Proficiency in reconciliation, audits, and travel & expense policies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Leadership and team development capabilities.
- Analytical approach with strong attention to detail.
- Effective problem-solving and escalation management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience, including 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
- Hands-on experience with Concur or similar systems.
- Advanced MS Excel skills; ERP experience (SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Accuracy and timeliness of expense report processing.
- SOX compliance scores and audit outcomes.
- Employee satisfaction and low escalation rates.
- Achieved cost savings and process efficiency improvements.
