Community Accessability Inc is a values-based, not-for-profit organization that provides a vast array of services that support individuals with a disability and frail aged people to participate fully in their communities, be functional at home and live their best life. Our services are delivered throughout rural Victoria, southern NSW and Metropolitan Melbourne and are rapidly expanding.
This is a casual position covering maternity leave for 6 months in duration. Days and times will remain flexible also being the same each week.
Overview of Responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
• Provides quality customer service for all clients including answering reception and accounts telephone inquiries.
• Supports and performs administrative requirements for various departments within the organisation.
• Maintains administration systems ,including maintaining office stationery requirements ,tea room ,records ,mail ,filing and archiving records.
• Publishing creditor invoices received to Hubdoc
• Complete all the operational tasks related to finance and accounting. This includes but not limited to all accounting operations such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, data assistance and any other administrative task as required.
• Preparing monthly transport invoices including printing and posting .
• Job share all reception duties including answering all phone calls in a timely manner and greeting customers as required.
To be considered for this role:
- • Strong organisational ,time management and planning skills
- • Ability to operate strategically with an ability to problem solve, support, and understand challenges at the operational level.
- • Proficient in use of accounting software (preferable XERO) and computing skills including high level of competency in Excel spreadsheets.
- • High level communication with interpersonal skills and a willingness to work in collaboratively with a variety of key stakeholders.
- • Sound customers service skills.
