Description & Requirements

This is a 1-year Fixed Term Contract role, with the possibility of extension or transition to a permanent position in the future. 

 

Opportunity Snapshot:

The Technical Support Analyst will work as part of the Technical Support team in the provision of end user technical support and leverage remote support technologies to support our customers. You will participate in remote and onsite deskside support across Bupa APAC. All services are to be provided in accordance to agreed service level targets, risk, governance & compliance standards. The role will deliver the co-ordinated and timely provision of end user support, through remote technologies, or as required, through onsite support.

 

Your Contribution:

  • Effective delivery of second level support for relevant end user devices and services, including:

Desktop and laptop configurations, including deploying PC images, as we well as supporting related hardware and peripherals o Support desktop client applications

 Mobiles, tablets and printer support

  • Provide high level customer service to business users.
  • Design and deploy desktop and laptop configurations which support the organisation’s objectives and strategic plans
  • Investigate and support desktop applications and relocations
  • Ensure desktop security and virus filtering
  • Research technologies and test their potential benefit to Bupa Australia
  • Provide a desktop consultation service to business users
  • Documentation of processes
  • Provide technical support to Service Desk teams
  • Provide assistance to other IS teams as requested (e.g., SD, SD Remote & Requests) Legal and regulatory compliance, adherence to internal operating procedures together with the management of business risks is the responsibility of every Bupa employee.
  • You are required to comply with Bupa’s risk and compliance policies, procedures, frameworks and regulatory requirements, as they apply to your specific role at Bupa.
  • Deliverable: Work in accordance with Bupa Australia’s Health and Safety policy, always applying safe working practices and procedures and comply with all instructions given about ensuring health and safety at work. Client Relationships/Focus
  • Consult on platform deliverables to ensure business representatives have realistic expectations of what is being deployed
  • Provide deployment support and problem resolution to users of platform systems to support business activities


Qualifications and training 

  • Support Windows 10 PCs/laptops in a networked AD environment; manage PC imaging and SCCM.
  • Use ServiceNow and MS Office; follow ITIL processes.
  • Deliver excellent customer service with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Plan and organize tasks effectively; manage resources and meet deadlines.
  • Build strong relationships across teams; resolve conflicts and support team collaboration.
  • Focus on customer satisfaction and consistent delivery of high-quality results.
  • Demonstrate initiative, pursue development opportunities, and aim for career growth.
  • Apply technical expertise, learn new technologies quickly, and communicate clearly.
