Description
Yale University School of Medicine is recruiting an additional faculty member to join the Section of Hospital Medicine as part of the pediatric in-patient program at Lawrence Memorial Hospital and York St. Duties will include admitting and caring for in-patients on the pediatric medical unit and nursery coverage at the main Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital campus.
Appointment as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Yale School of Medicine is anticipated, based on experience and qualifications. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in-patient medicine in a community hospital setting in a beautiful coastal Connecticut town while also attending in a world-class pediatric department and children’s hospital.
Qualifications
Requirements include board certification or eligibility in pediatrics. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated interest and abilities in clinical care and education and will have excellent interpersonal skills. In addition, the candidate should have a track record in mentoring and educating residents in all aspects of pediatric medicine.
