Description
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Department of Pathology is seeking an Academic Clinical Microbiologist at any rank (Assistant, Associate, or full Professor). Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic credentials and experience. In addition to patient care activities, clinical microbiology laboratory management and accreditation-related activities, the incumbent will be expected to participate in medical student and house staff teaching and develop or continue his/her research program. Outstanding opportunities for collaborative, translational research are available throughout UT Southwestern community. Competitive salary and start-up fund will be provided.
Qualifications
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Department of Pathology is seeking an Academic Clinical Microbiologist at any rank (Assistant, Associate, or full Professor). The applicant must have an MD, MD/PhD, or PhD, and BE/BC by the American Board of Pathology and/or the American Board of Medical Microbiology. If appropriate, the candidate must be eligible for a Texas medical license.
