The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an accomplished Physiatrist with leadership skills to oversee and expand their Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Spinal Cord Injury and Disorder (PM&R SCI/D) program across three major hospitals and affiliated outpatient clinics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to both clinical and administrative leadership in a growing and dynamic healthcare system. The ideal candidate will also engage with residents, fellows, and medical students in one of the largest PM&R training programs in the country.

Key Highlights:

• Location: Based at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, this role involves work across Clements University Hospital, Parkland Hospital, THD-Presbyterian Hospital, and affiliated outpatient clinics.
  
  
• Role Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive clinical care for both inpatients and outpatients
  • Teach medical students, PM&R residents, and fellows
  • Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and research
  • Lead the development of the PM&R Spinal Cord Injury and Disorder (PM&R SCI/D) program

Qualifications

• Education: MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent)
• Board Certification: ABPMR Board certified or eligible
• Licensure: Eligible for Texas medical licensure (must acquire prior to employment

  This is a leadership role suited for a highly motivated physiatrist with the ability to drive program development while maintaining a focus on clinical excellence and education. Demonstrated Experience traumatic spinal cord injury would be highly beneficial.
