Intern – Corporate Governance

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to monitor the time management systems of the worker/ staff levels, keeping an accurate record of attendance/ personal data thereby, providing the correct data in a timely manner to ensure an effective payroll process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with preparation and coordination in drafting and validating agreements & LOAs in consultation with Group Legal and relevant stakeholders to the agreement.
- Assist with preparation & validation of board resolutions and necessary coordination with Group Legal and Secretaries.
- Assist with ensuring the timely finalization of dates for Board Meetings within entities of KEREDA – SL and coordination of affairs until completion.
- Assist with preparing and finalizing banking and related documentation. E.g.: facilities, account opening / closing, compliances, etc.
- Support the link between KREEDA Al-Safi & other overseas units and KREEDA SL where required with regards to agreements and resolutions whilst coordinating with relevant stakeholders in a timely and effective manner to ensure the needs of the organization are represented in a fair and legal manner.
- Assist with ensuring proactive vigilance in the current context of affairs with regards potential risks and non-compliances in the existing practice. E.g.: carry out random audits on minor population, corrective action taken prior to agreements are drafted, etc.
- Assist the role of point of coordination between Group Legal and drive initiatives mandated by the group.
- Assist with ensuring that the environment, safety and health standards of the organization are adhered to while actively contributing towards promoting a culture of safety and environmental consciousness within and outside the organization.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- The ideal candidate should possess a full or part qualification in Management or Legal Studies.
- A sharp focus on details.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Sinhala.
- Good interpersonal skills.
