About The Es Technology Team

The Technology Team is the driving force behind all our technical infrastructure, networks, corporate systems, and software IT. It is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the entire technical landscape, which serves as the foundation for all permanent and event-based operational services for our customers (e.g., media organizations, sports federations, and event enterprises). The ES Technology Team ensures secure functionality while delivering cutting-edge technical solutions to provide high-quality services, achieve ambitious objectives, and deliver outstanding value to our customers, all while optimizing costs to improve our bottom line.

Main Responsibilities Of This Position

The Junior IT Support Engineer ensures the smooth operation of our corporate IT systems. This role directly contributes to company success by minimizing downtime, boosting troubleshooting efficiency, and securing IT assets, ultimately supporting a more efficient and resilient business environment.

As It Support Engineeryou Will:

  • End-User Support: Provide first- and second-line technical support for hardware and software. Diagnose and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and standard business applications.
  • System & Network Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance of IT systems, manage user accounts and permissions, and assist with basic network troubleshooting and configuration.
  • Asset Management: Oversee the deployment, inventory, and decommissioning of IT equipment; manage software licensing.
  • Security & Compliance: Enforce IT security policies, educate users on best practices, and assist in responding to security incidents.
  • Documentation & Training: Create and maintain technical documentation, build knowledge base articles, and deliver basic IT training to users.
  • Onboarding/Offboarding: Set up IT for new employees and manage IT-related tasks during employee departures.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively with IT teams and other departments, escalating complex issues when necessary.

Your Knowledge And Skills

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field

Operating Systems:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows client OS (Windows 10/11) and familiarity with Windows Server OS.
  • Basic knowledge of macOS and/or Linux.

Hardware:

  • Component identification, installation, and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Basic understanding of server hardware.

Networking:

  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications. Microsoft certifications (e.g., M365) are a plus.
