You Will Be Responsible For:

  • developing and implementing multi-channel communications and marketing strategies for assigned projects, aligning with the vision and core values of the Hong Kong Palace Museum (HKPM) at WestK;
  • designing and producing engaging content for social media, press releases, fact sheets, and other relevant collateral materials—including bilingual copy, photography, and short-form videos;
  • managing HKPM’s social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), and monitor and report on performance metrics;
  • supporting the planning and execution of marketing and communications campaigns, including exhibition openings and key press events;
  • acting as the primary media contact, handling and coordinating daily media activities and operations, including enquiries, interviews, photo / video shooting, press release distribution, media coverage analysis and reporting and press contact lists maintenance;
  • building and maintaining a positive relationship with local, PRC and overseas media reporters, editors, columnist and KOL;
  • liaising with arts and cultural programme partners, business partners or other government organisations for publicity initiatives;
  • leveraging exhibitions and special programmes to develop creative initiatives that enhance brand visibility, drive visitation, and foster visitor engagement;
  • working with external agencies, outsourced vendors and business partners on marketing and communications initiatives as necessary; and
  • ensuring the HKPM brand remains relevant, refreshed, and vibrant;
  • performing any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority.

You Should:

  • hold a  recognised university degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, New Media, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, or related disciplines;
  • have a minimum 5 years of experience in a matrix organisation or agency setting. Experience in integrated marketing, digital marketing, and social media in Mainland China is preferred;
  • demonstrate solid knowledge and hands-on experience in both online and offline marketing, including digital platforms, social media, advertising, print media, and corporate communications;
  • exhibit strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels and build rapport with internal teams and external stakeholders;
  • be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and highly organised, with a positive attitude and strong multitasking abilities;
  • possess excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua; and
  • demonstrate a passion for arts and culture, social impact, and community engagement.
