Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and hands-on Senior HR and Workplace Experience Communications Lead to join our global HR team. Based in Sri Lanka, this role will have a global remit, requiring a strong understanding of cross-cultural communication and the ability to partner with stakeholders across regions and levels.
This role is ideal for a seasoned communications professional who excels in writing, planning, and advising. You will craft compelling messages, develop strategic communications plans, and support HR leaders and teams in delivering consistent, high-impact employee communications worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Communication
- Design and implement global HR and workplace Experience communication strategies aligned with business and talent priorities.
- Partner with senior HR leaders to create and deliver effective communication campaigns on initiatives such as performance, talent development, diversity & inclusion, organizational change, and more.
- Partner with global communications team to ensure full alignment with companywide messaging and tone.
Content Creation & Writing
- Develop high-quality, engaging, and culturally sensitive communications—emails, leadership talking points, intranet content, videos, presentations, and newsletters.
- Adapt tone and messaging for different audiences across geographies and job levels.
Consultative Support
- Act as a trusted advisor to HR business partners and leaders, guiding on messaging, delivery methods, and change communications.
- Build toolkits and frameworks to help HR teams communicate effectively on various initiative
Communication Planning
- Build and manage multi-channel communications plans that support global programs and change management initiatives.
- Measure effectiveness of communications and continuously improve strategies based on feedback and data.
Employer branding campaigns:
- Collaborate with marketing, talent acquisition and HR teams to create global campaigns that highlight the company's culture, values, and employee experiences.
- Work with the TA branding team in Sri Lanka to amplify branding more globally.
Employee engagement programs:
- Design and manage programs that foster employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Qualifications
Requirements & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in internal/HR/corporate communications, preferably in a multinational or global matrix environment.
- Fluent English writing and verbal skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Proven experience supporting senior leaders and advising on communications strategy.
- Hands-on approach—must be comfortable writing, editing, and executing plans.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
- Strong understanding of global business culture, especially across EMEA, APAC, and Americas.
- Experience in tools such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Viva Engage, or enterprise social platforms.
