In this role:

You will be working as part of the Security Team, part of the Workplaces Branch of Transport for NSW, where you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of security access and control systems and services.

You will ensure building access control, card and profile management, security and emergency services are provided in accordance with policies and standards. You will also provide technical expertise, advice and support for security-related systems including CCTV, alarm, intercom and electronic access systems.

You will investigate and lead troubleshooting activities to resolve security systems incidents or faults, monitor and respond to security alerts that are raised by security systems.

You will also train support staff and create relevant documentation and guides as training material.

About you

You are an enthusiastic Security Operations Technician with +5 years’ experience in the delivery of security and access services, across large and complex property portfolios.

You will also have experience and sound knowledge of security system management including access control, CCTV & alarm panels.

You will have a strong technical skillset in the security system field with ability to investigate issues and resolve appropriately. You will also have experience troubleshooting and implementing preventative solutions to decrease system outage incidents & issues.

You will be able to work in a fast-pace environment and handle a high volume of complex programming & reporting requests. You will also have the ability to train support staff and create relevant documentation and guides as training material.
