Daikin Applied is seeking a Sr. Accounting Analyst, reporting to the Sr. Director of Finance, to support our intercompany transactions, eliminations and reconciliations. The person in this role will oversee and ensure the completion of balance sheet reconciliations, month-end requirements, and DSO reporting needs to support overall business growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Analyze, understand and interpret inter/intracompany transactions and balances
Propose and prepare monthly journal entries to eliminate intercompany transactions on the balance sheet and income statement
Reconcile intercompany activity between the various parties involved in the transactions
Provide consolidation level data for intra-company activity Financial Reporting Team
Assist in the preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements
Support the requests made by internal and external auditors for inter/intracompany transactions and balances
Assist in planning and forecasting of inter/intracompany transactions and balances
Identify and propose changes for process improvement surrounding inter/intra company reporting
Other duties may include but are not limited to the following
- Reconcile payroll, payroll taxes and union withholdings
- Analyze Selling and General Administrative expense for Corporation
- Reconciliation of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Performs special projects including transition from Oracle to SAP as well as implementation of new consolidation solution

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting AND 6+ years of progressive work experience in Accounting and Finance OR 10+ years of progressive work experience in Accounting and Finance in lieu of a degree
ERP system experience using Oracle, SAP or similar.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Accounting
CPA
Finance experience within HVAC, construction or building material manufacturing industry
3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role preferably in multinational organization

The typical Salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $120,000 in MN + 10% annual variable bonus target and $96,200 – $134,000 + 10% annual variable bonus in Jersey City, NJ. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
