Summary:
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide and inform the training and development of supervisory and production staff. This includes direct supervision over Training Leads, including but not limited to day-to-day guidance and coaching, scheduling, and partnership on performance reviews. This role will be expected to partner with operations, providing support for RedZone and SOP creation.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This role will have direct supervision over Training Leads.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Must maintain open lines of professional communication and effective interpersonal relations within the department and across departmental lines.
- Facilitate and assist in leading leadership courses for Daily’s clerical employees.
- Direct leadership oversight for the Training Leads, which may include performance conversations, coaching, scheduling and guidance on day-to-day responsibilities of the team.
- Consult with leaders to identify activities, projects, and assignments to drive teams towards collaboration and growth mindset.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Assist in the coordination of logistics for performance management and succession processes for the training department and its support organizations.
- Must practice Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), good manufacturing practices (GMP), and plant policies. Must comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Rules (OSHA). Must practice compliance with all state and federal food safety regulations.
- Organize job training activities for all subordinates.
- Coordinate all work processes with other internal departments of the organization.
- Must effectively manage their own time.
- Track and communicate with all training staff on progress or concerns of new hire development with providing feedback, giving direction and coaching team members.
- Complete other assignments as deemed appropriate by manager.

Education and/or Experience:
Must have a High School Diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution and 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing facility, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role is preferred.
Must have current or past experience with the Daily’s Training Team.
Communication Skills:
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Possess the skill set to effectively and clearly communicate with others within and outside of the Company. Ability to read and interpret documents in the English language such as general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Must be able to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines. Bilingual is a plus.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Ability to use computers and all standard programs used by the industry and the ability to learn and effectively use any and all other computer programs that are or will be made available.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to move about the facility. The employee is required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel/hold objects, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; speak, hear, taste, and smell. Employee may occasionally lift, push/pull up to forty (40) pounds.
Work Environment:
The work environment would normally be an office setting but may require trips through the entire facility which would include climate extremes.
The hours and days of work are established as needed by operations and at the discretion of management and may be changed (increased or decreased) by management as required. Generally, 8 or more hours/day as scheduled by management. Normally Monday-Friday as scheduled by management and weekends if needed by operations and approved by management.
