As our Accounts Assistant, you’ll play a key role in keeping our finances running smoothly, from day to day transactions to month end reporting.
In this role, you will:
• Work side by side with our Financial Reporting Manager to close month end with confidence, preparing and posting journals, reconciling ledgers, and producing clear P&L analysis.
• Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations, including stocks and intercompany transactions, so we always have a clear financial picture.
• Support the annual audit, ensuring our records are accurate and ready.
• Handle joint venture transactions, import clearances, and other compliance processes with care and attention.
• Be the go-to person for purchase ledger cover, scanning and processing invoices, managing credit notes, and making timely supplier payments.
• Lend a hand to Group Finance and the Senior Finance Business Partner when extra support is needed.
You’ll bring strong numeracy skills, an eye for detail, and the confidence to work under pressure without losing your smile. You know how to build good relationships, solve problems, and use ERP systems with ease (IFS experience is a bonus).
