Train and optimize AI models that process video and bio-sensor data in real-time
Build and maintain software pipelines that quantize, lower, and deploy AI models on wearable edge devices, including smart glasses and watches
Partner closely with other scientists and engineers to develop compelling live demos, reusable components, and robust tools that advance the state-of-the-art in how humans use AI systems
Embrace the ambiguity of problem solving in a collaborative research environment: learn constantly, educate others, dive into new technical areas and unfamiliar technologies

Minimum Qualifications

Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta
1+ years of experience training, deploying, and testing AI models in python
1+ years of experience developing firmware for microcontrollers in C/C++

Preferred Qualifications

MS degree or equivalent experience in computer science, human-computer interaction, electrical engineering, bioinformatics, robotics or related field
Experience deploying models on accelerators such as Ethos-U55
Experience with human-computer-interaction
Experience with the research process (e.g., having participated on an academic publication)

$56.25/hour to $173,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
