- Train and optimize AI models that process video and bio-sensor data in real-time
- Build and maintain software pipelines that quantize, lower, and deploy AI models on wearable edge devices, including smart glasses and watches
- Partner closely with other scientists and engineers to develop compelling live demos, reusable components, and robust tools that advance the state-of-the-art in how humans use AI systems
- Embrace the ambiguity of problem solving in a collaborative research environment: learn constantly, educate others, dive into new technical areas and unfamiliar technologies
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta
- 1+ years of experience training, deploying, and testing AI models in python
- 1+ years of experience developing firmware for microcontrollers in C/C++
- MS degree or equivalent experience in computer science, human-computer interaction, electrical engineering, bioinformatics, robotics or related field
- Experience deploying models on accelerators such as Ethos-U55
- Experience with human-computer-interaction
- Experience with the research process (e.g., having participated on an academic publication)
