We have multiple job ads but only one position, apply to one location only.
The TFC Program Manager is responsible for developing, leading, and facilitating teams to support the highest risk children and families in the community. Services and supports are intended to assist children to remain in or return to their homes and schools in the community. This position works with a team who values the development of family-driven, child-focused continuum of services when working with youth and their families.
As a part of the team, will oversee aspects of the Treatment Foster Care program, Oregon Kinship Navigator (https://oregonkinshipnavigator.org/) program, and the Foster Plus (https://fosterplus.org/) collaborative depending on expertise.
Essential duties include:
- Provide trauma-informed, strengths-based, Collaborative Problem Solving-informed guidance to staff, child and family teams, and foster parents.
- Ongoing supervision of case managers’ (RCPC) provision of services to children and families receiving foster care services; includes assuring that children’s treatment needs and progress are monitored, foster family strengths and needs are assessed.
- Assist with hiring, training, coaching, development and evaluation of qualified staff and foster parents.
- Update job descriptions as necessary and monitor required training.
- Provide supervision and coaching to case managers on all aspects of required documentation.
- Provide strength-based supervision and coaching to staff in order to maximize their strengths, and enhance their critical thinking skills and effectiveness in their roles.
- Coordinate staff coverage.
- Collaborate with crisis coverage to ensure high risk youth and families are provided appropriate crisis intervention techniques for client stabilization.
Requirements
What is needed to succeed in this role:
- Experience/Education – Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, social sciences, or a closely related field, Master’s degree preferred.
- 2 years’ experience related to the care and treatment of children or young adults in a behavioral health or foster care setting.
- Knowledge and experience in Collaborative Problem Solving.
- Strong planning and organizational skills and follows through.
- Tech Savvy – Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Suites products.
- Maintain a good driving record and required vehicle insurance
- Bilingual skills in Spanish preferred but not required.
