Manager, Finance & Accounting

Summary:
Mauser Packaging Solutions is a global leader in solutions and services across the packaging lifecycle, providing packaging worldwide to companies in industries from food, personal care, paints, and chemicals.

Lead and oversee corporate accounting functions, including monthly close, financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, audit support, and team coordination. Ensure accuracy and compliance across general ledger activities while supporting strategic initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and review general ledger account reconciliations and journal entries
• Manage the monthly close process and ensure timely financial reporting
• Manage the budget process throughout the year, build a yearly budget, and manage budget forecasts
• Coordinate quarterly reviews with US corporate reporting
• Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Prepare and review lead schedules and financial statements
• Support corporate and field accounting teams with technical guidance and project oversight
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Perform various other work-related duties as assigned

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA 
• 5+ years’ experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, and budget management
• Strong understanding of G/L accounts, journal entries, and financial close processes
• Experience in a public company environment preferred
• Proven ability to lead in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment that embraces change
• Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
