JOB SUMMARY:

As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in crafting an enjoyable atmosphere for all guests by delivering courteous, friendly & timely beverage service in the restaurant.

 

JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provide fast, friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests 
2. Prepare beverages as ordered
3. Build relationships with guests
4. Keep bar area clean and stocked workstation in accordance with established health and safety guidelines
5. Operate a cash register/POS system, ring the proper amount into the register, and give the guest or Server the correct change; account for all cash, charge, and complimentary sales according to established procedure; maintain the integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities 
6. Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines
7. Follow guidelines of the EBCI liquor laws as defined by the Tribal ABC Commission and NC ABC Commission 
8. Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner
9. Endorse the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision, and Values
10.  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. A high school diploma or GED is required
2. Six months of prior customer service experience is preferred
3. Four months experience as a bartender at a full-service bar is preferred
4. RASP certification is required*
5. ServSafe certification is required**

 

*Can be completed within 30 days of the hire date

**Can be completed within 90 days of the hire date

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

1. Must be able to be on feet for an 8-hour shift
2. Must be able to attend to multiple priorities simultaneously 
3. Must be able to lift 50 pounds 
4. Must be able to maneuver and tap a keg weighing 165 pounds
5. Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grasp
6. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
7. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
8. Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality, including secondhand smoke
9. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
