Senior Manager Finance System Administration
Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will oversee a team or teams which may include analysts, accountants, finance professionals, and/or IT professionals. You will report to the Executive Director.
Location: 100% Onsite at the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Headquarters in Durant, OK.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Primary Tasks:
- Maintain key finance stakeholder relationships to gather input on enterprise resource planning (ERP) system projects
- Assess potential projects to initiate with IT support team partners
- Establish master data configuration processes to ensure quality system data
- Coach, mentor, and establish goals according to the development of professional staff
- Develop training documentation, procedures and programs to improve staff efficiency and improve processes
- Serve as finance lead for system implementations
- Engage partner leadership for assistance with critical system issues
- Serve as primary point of contact for finance security and auto provisioning requests
- Advise team members on system issue testing methods
- Take a lead advisory role in translating business problems into plans of action to address issues or opportunities
- Lead the finance system administration team and their related functions
- Advise finance teams on functional testing and data validation strategies
- Serve as primary point of contact for all finance system projects and monitor project progression accordingly
- Perform other duties as may be assigned
Requirements:
Minimum
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or 4 years related experience
Knowledge of ERP system functions and accounting/finance operations
Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP system configuration
Experience with Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and interface impact with General Ledger and subledgers
High level problem-solving and project management skills
Self-starter with strong sense of urgency to resolve issues
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
7+ years experience in Finance, Accounting, ERP system support, project management, or finance management software
You will ensure that accounting systems are in place and followed by all members of accounting department. Develop training documentation, procedures and programs to improve staff efficiency and improve processes. Compile financial statements and reports. Produce monthly, quarterly, and yearly budget and forecast reports for delivery to upper management. 5. You will coordinate staff audit schedules and establish timelines for completion of achievable project goals 6. Verify records of financial transactions with appropriate supporting documents. 7. Coach, mentor and establish goals according to the development of professional staff 8. Verify compliance with internal controls and reporting requirements with outside agencies. 9. Perform other tasks as may be assigned. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or 4 years related experience. Knowledge of internal control procedures and management information systems Interpret and explain major business issues.
