Purpose of Position
This Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) position helps with grading and tracking of student assignments, monitors attendance and assists an instructor, including occasional teaching.
For the 2025-2026 academic year, the Social Work department is hiring two GTA positions. Both positions will assist faculty with large undergraduate courses. The fall assignment will either be SWK 255 (Introduction to Social Work) or SWK 257 (HBSE I). A spring assignment will be determined at a later date.
Each position is a 25% time commitment, and GTAs are expected to work 8-10 hours per week. This is an on campus position. No remote work is available.

Minimum Requirements
- Must be fully admitted to the School of Graduate Studies at UND
- Must be enrolled or working towards a Master of Social Work degree
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
