This is an entry-level part-time position

Sofiac Travel (a brand of Interclypse) is seeking a part-time Marketing Assistant to help on our diverse portfolio of industry-specific clients. The Marketing Assistant will work closely with the marketing manager to define customer goals and develop Pay-Per-Click advertising strategies to attain and exceed these goals. Ideal candidates are self-motivated learners with an interest in expanding their understanding of online advertising and digital marketing. Mentorship and support are foundational tenets of Interclypse's culture, and employees are given the guidance they need to increase their knowledge and grow as professionals. This part-time position intends to expand into other digital marketing areas as the specialist grows in knowledge and displays increased interest of digital marketing.

Responsibilities

Create meaningful, productive, and creative online advertising campaigns to meet customer goals.
Write effective copy and work with designers to create eye-catching and effective graphics.
Research and implement effective keyword strategies to meet customer goals.
Hands-on management of paid digital marketing. Predominantly Google Ads with the potential to expand into Meta, Bing, etc. in the future.
Analyze the performance of campaigns and provide reporting and suggestions to improve performance to clients & management.
Stay up to date with social, pay-per-click, and mobile trends & innovations as well as provide recommendations to management on how to serve clients better.

Requirements:

A Degree or pursuing a degree in a marketing-relevant field.
Technical Certifications in Google Ads or other relevant digital advertising platforms and the willingness to acquire new certifications as needed.
Experience in and/or a willingness to learn PPC advertising strategies and other forms of digital advertising.
Experience with Google Analytics and/or the willingness to learn and grow these skills.
An understanding of SEO and the willingness to strengthen that knowledge further.
Exceptional written and verbal communication focused on conveying information to clients in an easily understandable manner.

Nice to have:

Experience in performance reporting and creating visually engaging data presentations using tools such as PowerPoint, LookerStudio, etc.
A willingness to seek out educational sources and grow knowledge in your field.
Experience or familiarity with the concepts of effective copywriting and/or graphic design.
